-5- Reasons Why Most Entrepreneurs Fail Part #3

Hello and welcome to the third installment of:

The “-5- Reasons Why Most Entrepreneurs Fail“.

(Note: If you have not read the first or second installment yet, then be sure to do so today by clicking either of the previous two hyperlinks.)

In this week’s blog post we’re going to laser in on another deadly mistake that many entrepreneurs make but few actually know how to handle.

This way you can quickly identify if this deadly mistake is lurking around in your business, and you can quickly take the necessary measures to avoid it like the plague.

Now that you know what to expect and we’re on the same page, let’s make the most of our time together today by getting started right away, o.k.?

Don’t Worry There’s Hope For You!

Ever heard the phrase that your mind is a battlefield?

The truth is that it’s not just a phrase, it’s actually a reality.

As an entrepreneur, this is something you must be aware of.

Otherwise, you’ll just be another victim of failure and mediocrity which is why I’m so excited to share a few techniques that will help you to focus more on what needs to be done, and less on that critical voice in your head that’s trying to distract you.

Remember this –

battlefield

You don’t have to be a victim of mental paralysis and you can win the war over mediocrity.

On that note – I’ll share with you some highly effective strategies to achieve better mental focus for higher output in your day in just a moment…

3 Steps To Be Victorious Mentally Everyday

I promised you that I’d kick you off with some killer strategies to overcome mental mediocrity, and I intend to deliver on that promise –

Here they are for you to implement and enjoy:

*Step #1: Identify The Critical Voice

MJ’s Note: The first step to avoiding mental mediocrity in your day is to take authority of your thought life by distinguishing between the critical voice, inspiration and your own personal thoughts.

*Step #2 Stop The Critical Voice Dead In It’s Tracks

MJ’s Note: When the critical voice tells you a negative thought that is not congruent with your positive self-image, then you need to move one step further from our previous step and actually stop that thought.

Here’s how to do it:

As an entrepreneur you must remember that you have the ability to accept or reject every thought.

When it comes to the critical thought’s that add no value to your life or the lives of other’s related to your business, you simply must stop the thought and dismiss it immediately.

For best results, be sure to visualize a stop sign, followed by something along the lines of “I reject that thought”, or “I do not receive that thought” before moving onto step #3.

*Step #3 Critical Thought Remodeling

MJ’s Note: Now that you’ve successfully stopped the thought and rejected the thought, it’s time to execute a specific critical thought remodeling phrase.

Why?

Because it will allow you to positively affirm what your real identity is by re-affirming who you really are boldly by silencing the inner-critic who is attempting to distract your entrepreneurial development and deceive you.

*Bonus Step: It’s important to note that sometimes these critical thought’s will come in bunches repeating the same lie again and again.

I want you to write down what I say next and always remember this –

No matter how many times the inner critic repeats the same old lie to you, it’s still not true and repetition doesn’t make it more true so don’t believe the hype!

A lie is a lie – PERIOD.

Who You Gonna Believe?

At the end of the day, you have to make a decision and ask yourself:

*Who am I going to believe?*

The inner-critic whose sole purpose is to destroy my business?

-or-

What is actually relevant and true?

If you want my honest opinion, I’d say that you should take action, and accept the truth.

This way, you’ll be able to stay on task in your business and avoid getting sidelined just because of some critical thoughts.

…And speaking of thoughts, be sure to let me know what you thought of today’s blog post in the comments section as well as any other strategies that you find effective to win the war between your ears.

Have a great day!
